2026 will be our biggest Strive Not to Drive Week EVER! WIN PRIZES by signing the pledge to strive not to drive, or by participating in any of the 20+ events taking place in Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania Counties.
Strive Not to Drive was started by Asheville advocates in the 1980’s, but has since grown to encompass all five counties in the Land of Sky region.
The purpose of the week is to strive for a Western North Carolina where we can all live, work, and play in communities with less traffic congestion, better air quality, and safer streets for all.
